IMHX, the largest event in the UK for professionals within the logistics, supply chain and materials handling industries, took place from 24 – 27 September 2019. The team at Molokini was thrilled to attend the show every day this year and see all the latest intralogistics solutions on show.
Here are some of our highlights this year.
RTITB
The Molokini team is proud to have worked together with RTITB, the leading standards setting body for workplace transport training, on their stand for IMHX.
Along with showcasing their new branding, the RTITB stand featured a forklift where visitors could take part in a ‘find the faults’ competition.
At the show, RTITB also launched eTruck UK, which is set to change lift truck training forever. The digital storytelling tool is completely unique and will increase training effectiveness while reducing training time by as much as 2 days per course!
We organised a press briefing on the RTITB stand to launch eTruck UK, where magazine editors were were among the first to get a hands-on demo.

Pyroban
At IMHX, explosion protection safety company, Pyroban, showcased one of the original shut down valves that marked the beginning of ‘Project Pyroban’ in 1969, after the accidental release and ignition of flammable vapour by a diesel engine. The valve features the same principles Pyroban uses today in diesel engine protection solutions.
Are you active? Pyroban experts were on hand to discuss active gas detection and explain how system6000 and Gascheka function.
Darren Boiling, Technical Services Manager, gave regular demonstrations on system6000 and how it keeps people safe in Zone 2 areas.
An aerosol can was used to activate the system, showing the benefits of alerting drivers to the presence of a flammable atmosphere.

Hyster
HysterMolokini also helped to organise a press briefing which was held on the Hyster® stand on Wednesday 25th September where industry experts walked through Hyster® solutions that support demanding applications, such as those in paper and construction operations. The event offered key members of the industry’s press the opportunity to get up close to Hyster® trucks and see various attachments and driver awareness solutions.
There was a great turnout – thank you to everyone who attended!
Talent in Logistics
Visitors to the Talent in Logistics stand had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and accuracy by operating the UniCarriers award winning TX3 Electric Counterbalance Truck.
Emma, one of our PR & Digital Marketing Executives, even got a chance to have her first supervised drive of a forklift!
Briggs
Briggs, who shared a stand alongside Hyster and Yale, featured a race car on their stand which proved to be a hit with Meg, another of our PR & Digital Marketing Executives!

The whole team had a great few days at the show. It was also announced at the show that IMHX would be returning in 2021, and every two years after that (instead of three). We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone there and the innovations that those two years will bring!
