Hyster Europe has announced plans to appoint a network of new dealers across France, providing greater coverage and enhanced support for customers.

CHRISTOPHE MAILLETFor the past 10 years, Manuloc has been the exclusive importer of Hyster® materials handling equipment in France, from small pallet trucks to 52 tonne container handlers. This arrangement will come to an end on 30th June 2020.

“We have worked closely in partnership with Manuloc for many years and are very thankful to its excellent team, which has helped develop the Hyster® brand in France,” says Christophe Maillet, VP network development EMEA for Hyster Europe. “Our new strategy builds on this strong foundation and will bring tough Hyster® trucks to even more operations across the country.”

With the new strategy, Hyster Europe is appointing two different types of dealers.

Regional independent dealers will exclusively distribute the extensive range of Hyster® forklifts and warehouse trucks across France. The objective is to improve coverage of the national territory to get closer to end customers and provide the sales and service they expect.

Some dealers will be dedicated to offering specific expertise for customers in port and terminal operations only. They have teams of experts in this business and the objective is to focus on sales and service to Ports in France.

“Each dealer is well known and established in their region, with many years expertise in the material handling business. This new French dealer network will bring our distribution partners closer to customers and enable faster support response times,” says Christophe, explaining that many new dealers are already confirmed, and the full network is expected to be in place by August.

Hyster Europe also intends to introduce a dedicated Major Accounts Team for France, focused on matching the needs of customers in specific industries and applications to the right Hyster® solutions.

Further details about the new network of Hyster® dealers will be revealed soon.
