Leicester, UK (18 May, 2026) – JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation business [NYSE:OSK] and a leading global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers, supports No Falls Week with guidance from JLG® Power Towers, the company’s low-level access lift brand, to help organisations understand how appropriate equipment selection and familiarisation may support effective working practices and help reduce exposure to workplace risks.

Because falls from height remain a significant cause of workplace incidents*, during No Falls Week (18 – 22 May 2026) JLG Power Towers is encouraging employers and operators to broaden their understanding of the low-level access options available for their specific applications.

“To determine the right equipment for the job, the first step is awareness. Being well informed is key to making safety decisions and supporting correct working practices,” says Samuel Butterworth, business development manager UK & I- LLA, JLG Power Towers. “It’s important for organisations to understand the full range of solutions — not just what has been used before — when assessing a task and choosing the most appropriate equipment.”

Meeting Task‑Specific Applications

The recently launched board and pipe carrier accessories for the Power Tower and Power Tower Duo are designed to support trades including plaster boarding, insulation, water pipe, ducting and busbar installation. These accessories are intended to support correct material-handling processes at height when used in accordance with manufacturer guidance and site procedures.

Similarly, in restricted access environments, the Nano 30CS is designed with a compact basket design to fit through ceiling tiles and around obstructions such as overhead conveyor systems, pipework and air-handling equipment. This may help operations adopt best practices in applications where space is limited or where overhead services could create risks, such as pharmaceuticals, clean manufacturing and complex industrial facilities.

Within warehousing and retail settings, stock picking trays are available on models such as the Pecolift to support the stable retrieval of single boxes. This type of order picking solution may help support operator ergonomics and comfort and is suited to applications that need to access boxes from racking or shelves but do so infrequently.

JLG Power Towers Pecolift Fit Out“JLG Power Towers works closely with customers to deliver solutions and configurations that reflect how the equipment is actually used by different trades and environments,” Butterworth explains. “And once the optimal solution has been selected, familiarisation can aid operator competency.”

The Path to Competency familiarisation programme from JLG Power Towers is designed to support operator understanding of low-level access equipment. It has been developed to help establish a consistent understanding of equipment use, supporting awareness of proper equipment use and practices and help reduce the likelihood of avoidable work-at-height incidents.

“Our aim is to combine product knowledge with practical support,” adds Butterworth. “By providing familiarisation, site surveys, demonstrations and flexible finance support, our team can help customers make informed decisions about the equipment they’re using and how it’s applied on site.”

Supporting the No Falls Foundation

JLG Power Towers has been a Gold Supporter of the No Falls Foundation for the past two years, supporting the charity’s efforts to raise awareness of fall-related risks and promote industrywide improvement, including joint attendance at events and connecting customers and partners with the charity’s work.

The low-level access equipment brand also supports No Falls Foundation initiatives aimed at improving the reporting and understanding of incidents involving falls from height, supporting broader industry efforts and regulatory frameworks such as Health and Safety Executive (HSE), RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013), and the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).

“During No Falls Week, JLG Power Towers encourages organisations to review the tasks being undertaken at height and understand the range of equipment options available, so that access decisions are made based on informed assessment rather than habit,” concludes Butterworth.
