DUBLIN, Ireland – FLY4 Airlines, Ireland’s newest aviation success story, has announced outstanding operational results for its inaugural European summer season, marking a remarkable achievement for the carrier that launched commercial operations just eight months ago.

Since its first commercial flight in March 2024, FLY4 has demonstrated extraordinary growth, serving 23 countries and carrying more than 382,000 passengers across 2,236 sectors. The airline achieved an impressive 94% load factor while accumulating 7,885 block hours, establishing itself as a reliable partner for both charter brokers and ACMI customers.

“Our performance this summer, from a standing start ramping up to four aircraft, has been in line with expectations and validates our strategic approach to market entry,” said Jochen Schnadt, CEO and Accountable Manager of FLY4 Airlines. “From receiving our AOC in March to rapidly scaling operations across multiple European markets, we’ve demonstrated our ability to deliver high-quality, dependable air transport services. This success positions us strongly for continued growth and expansion of our service portfolio.”

The airline’s journey from concept to operational excellence has been swift and methodical. Following project initiation in June 2023, FLY4 secured its Air Operator Certificate and Air Carrier Operating License from the Irish Aviation Authority by March 2024. The subsequent acquisition of UK CAA Third Country Operator approval in April 2024 enabled the carrier to commence significant operations from Birmingham and East Midlands airports.

Heidi Field, Head of Ground Operations at FLY4 Airlines, highlighted the team’s exceptional performance: “Our crews and ground staff have maintained exemplary standards throughout this intense period of growth. Their dedication to operational excellence and customer service has been fundamental to our successful summer season, consistently delivering reliable and efficient services across our network.”

The airline’s ACMI services have garnered particular praise from industry partners. A spokesperson from Airseven commended FLY4’s professionalism: “Thanks to the FLY4 Airlines team and crew for a great ACMI job. It was a pleasure to cooperate with you all. It was a smooth cooperation and we find you very reliable and professional. See you again!”

With six ACMI customers and three charter brokers now part of its portfolio, FLY4 Airlines has established itself as a trusted partner in European aviation, setting a strong foundation for future expansion and continued success.
