The Brief
To manage all social media channels for the 2018 Adur and Worthing Business Awards to deliver measurable results, including producing content, engaging with other social media users and providing live social media at events.

Awards Event Social Media
Following a kick-off meeting with all relevant stakeholders, Molokini developed a social media content plan to meet key goals around leveraging event sponsors, encouraging award entries and promoting awards evening ticket sales.

To make an impact, social media posts included specially designed branded visuals and custom-made videos and animations, alongside carefully crafted copy and eye-catching photographs.

Social Media Outreach
The Molokini digital marketing team monitored the Adur and Worthing Business Awards Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram channels daily and interacted with relevant businesses and posts to drive engagement.

As well as following relevant local companies, to help drive awards entries Molokini coordinated posts on relevant Facebook groups and pages, resulting in many additional awards nominations.

Live Twitter Wall
Molokini supported the Adur and Worthing Business Awards with a live Twitter wall, both at its official launch event and during the black-tie awards evening. This raised awareness of the event’s social media channels and encouraged event attendees to post a greater volume of social media content and promote the event hashtag.
