3D designs of diesel engines

Pyroban is a worldwide company offering explosion protection solutions for the materials handling and oil and gas industries. Pyroban Ltd is a wholly owned division of Caterpillar Inc.

Working closely with Pyroban and their team of CAD engineers, Molokini received FBX files and processed the Cat explosion proof engines through a series of lighting and shading shots until the engines were ready to be proofed. Final checks were made for materials, colours and textures before the engines were then run through the rendering process.

By working closely with the engineering team at Pyroban, the 3D modelling process was completed within ten days, four days ahead of schedule.
