Molokini – business as usual during lockdown

Home Latest Molokini – business as usual during lockdown

UPDATED – 5th January 2021

As we start the New Year, we now start a new lockdown in England to tackle the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. We would like to reassure all of our clients that despite this, it is business as usual at Molokini – the same team and same services are here to support you.

In March 2020, Molokini took the decision to switch all operations to remote working, in order to minimise infection risk in the workplace. The Molokini team was already experienced in remote working long before these events occurred, so with minimal disruption, we have continued to be right by the side of all our customers during this challenging time.

Since last year, we have operated remotely, and will continue to do so during the new lockdown, following the advice of the government. Our service level remains the same, with clients supported with regular video calls in the place of meetings.

During the new lockdown, some of our team members may have adjusted or flexible working hours to accommodate home-schooling or childcare commitments. We will ensure clients are updated directly with this information as appropriate. However, be assured that a member of the team is always available at the end of the phone during normal office hours to help you.

In the event of self-isolation, our team can continue to operate remotely to deliver our full range of web, PR and digital marketing services as normal. For websites where we manage hosting, we have also contacted our providers to ensure that they continue to have appropriate safeguards in place.

If there is an illness, we do not anticipate the whole team to be out of action at once and can cover each other’s work where needed, just as we would at any time that an illness occurred.

Face-to-face meetings may very occasionally occur, but only in a strictly Covid-secure environment with hygiene measures in place, and only where the activity is completely critical and cannot be carried out remotely. We adhere to the government guidelines that people must work from home wherever it is possible to do so, as we believe this will help keep our valuable team and their loved ones safe at this time.

We will continue to follow NHS and government advice as the situation develops and keep all of our customers fully up to date should anything change.
