The Brief

Improve their web presence. One of the key goals was to appeal to each of the insustry sectors they serve. The website also needed to be available in many languages to reflect their global presence. The website needed to be updatable by their staff across the world.

The Results

This solution was implimented using a PHP / MySQL Open Source Content Management System. The CMS provides content translation where by native language speakers can translate all pages to another language. The CMS also provides an intuative editing environment for staff to edit existing pages and create new ones. Each page can handle a mixture of text, images and video. The CMS is able to process images so they are resized to the correct dimensions for the website. Javascript and MooTools was used to provide some effective page animations. There is a PHP base contact finder that allows user to find the right member of staff for their query. There are about 100 contacts and over a 1000 variations of why they would be the suitable contact.
