Not so long ago, SEO might have been viewed as something best left to web developers, but it has become an important element of Molokini’s PR and Marketing service offering, in particular when we write and distribute articles.
Because this is an ever evolving discipline, it is important to keep our knowledge up to date so, as a PRCA member, I recently attended a training webinar held by the PRCA (Public Relations Consultants Association), titled SEO & PR: How the two work together.
The webinar was presented by Andrew Smith, Director of Esherman and a prolific trainer in social media, SEO and analytics for PR and communications professionals. He highlighted various ways to incorporate SEO into the PR effort and guided delegates through some of the useful tools that are available to help businesses ensure they are optimising SEO.
Of course, it is what you do with the tools that is the important thing and that's why more businesses are looking to PR professionals like Molokini Marketing to support the SEO effort in the right way with quality fresh and accurate material that can be understood.
The PRCA is the professional body that represents UK PR consultancies, in-house communications teams and PR freelancers, of which I am a member.
