Molokini Behind New Website Design for Leading Materials Handling Accrediting Body RTITB

Author : Molokini

The web design team at Molokini Marketing was thrilled to have been chosen to re-design the new website for the nation’s leading materials handling accrediting body and training provider, RTITB. The company is recognised worldwide and works with training providers in the UK, India and the Middle East.  For over forty years the name RTITB has been synonymous with training standards across the road freight and logistics industry.

“RTITB's website was an exciting and complex project for us and our web team is really enjoying the challenge this unique project has presented to us” says Katie Webb, Creative Director of Molokini Marketing. “We’ve been working with RTITB for several years raising their profile through PR, so we have a good understanding of the organisation and feel confident that we delivered a website that is in line with the complex and varied needs of the end users."

The main goal of the re-design, was to focus on the user-experience of RTITB’s varied clients so they could find exactly what they’re looking for much quicker than before, by implementing three distinct areas of the site for each demographic; ‘Training Providers,’ ‘Employers’ and ‘Individuals.’

In addition, RTITB’s updated website incorporates more user-friendly features such as live chat, advanced course search functionality, archive functions for news and events and is responsive to multiple devices and browsers.

The core website is built using the Joomla CMS so they can update the website themselves. It also relies on using a number of integrated custom web services using data from internal databases and systems.

Molokini has also revolutionised the way RTITB customers buy their products in the new online shop which was created using the ecommerce platform, Magento. The online payment processing system was upgraded further, adding to the ease with which RTITB customers pay for training materials and products.

Laura Nelson, Managing director of RTITB, said, “We are seeing unprecedented demand for our certification and courses from many clients who can see the benefits of RTITB accreditation. This new website will play an important role in not only promoting our organisation to new clients, but managing the diverse needs and expectations of existing clients as well.”
